It all started with numb feet. I was walking along the river last summer with my boyfriend and I noticed my feet started going numb. Then my legs started hurting and tingling. It happened a few more times within a period of a couple of weeks. I started to worry because I knew that wasn’t normal.
Now, several months later, after many doctors appointments and many tests, I’m scheduled for spine surgery. At first, the imaging tests showed I had spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. Also, at the time, I had three bulging discs in my lower lumbar region of my back. Currently, one of those discs has herniated.

In a little over a week, I will be in recovery from spine surgery. I will be immobile and on pain meds so I may be spending more time on my laptop working on some art. Hopefully, you'll be seeing some more updates from me soon!

So I've suddenly had a surge of creativy hit me lately. I love it! I've needed it! I was in a slump for quite a while. I've been in a lot of pain lately and doing my art is keeping me distracted from it. It's so awesome to be back!
